ABOUT US
The Story
This story began in early 2022. With the passing of a cherished loved one. With the sadness, a new realization struck me. That realization set me on a new path. The ending of that life changed me in so many ways. I decided to turn that experience into a positive one. I began remembering all the lessons I was taught as a child and some of the lessons that loved one taught me as an adult. This Journey I’ve undertaken is an homage to that life; it is my way of honoring that person and passing on those valuable lessons to future generations. My Dad may not have thought I was listening. This is the proof that I was.
The Journey
The starting point of this story was my attempt at art. My Dad was a great artist and a handyman. He painted, he built, and he left an impact on this world in so many ways and touched so many lives. His accomplishments will be seen for many years to come in the form of his art and the many amazing things he built with his hands. He worked at a company that build museum exhibits for many years. The skills he learned while helping make trees, rocks, bushes, even fossils that look incredibly lifelike. He took these skills and made many improvements to his home. I thought my journey should begin with art. After a couple months of creating art, I shifted gears and began woodworking. I find it fun as well as therapeutic and thought I might be able to make a business out of it. I'm still working on the business aspect but the fun and the therapy have brought a lot of peace to my life. I'm not sure where it'll take me but I'm excited for the ride.
Today
Today I'm improving my woodworking skills every day and building more and more complex items that I'm designing and executing myself without build plans or help from any outside entities. I'm so glad I get to share my work and my dream with you.
